Evidence-Based Fascia course combining Fascial Stretching and Cupping
This course is divided into two parts,
1) The first portion is online, where you will learn everything you need to know about cupping and fascial stretching, and have online demos for relaxation cupping therapy.
2) The second portion is 1 day in person, where you will practice dynamic cupping, cupping, and cupping while using assisted stretching techniques focused on fascia.
The research suggests we can restore the fascia through Manipulation and Movement. So Combining two effective fascia treatments: Fascia based assisted stretching (with joint distraction) and Cupping, to get the most fascial change possible.
When we add stretch at the joint we not only get the localized treatment of cupping but also gather more fascial lines to improve results.
This course provides a comprehensive exploration of fascia, emphasizing both its interconnectedness within the body and its specific characteristics when examined in isolation. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the structural and functional roles of fascia, learning techniques to assess and treat fascial restrictions effectively. By integrating both holistic and targeted approaches, the course aims to enhance therapeutic outcomes in injury recovery and rehabilitation processes. It encourages practitioners to consider fascia not just as a supportive tissue, but as an active contributor to overall health and movement. Through practical applications and case studies, attendees will develop critical skills in fascia-focused therapy, allowing for a more nuanced approach to patient care.

The importance of using Cupping and Fascial Stretching in your massage
Cupping and fascial stretching have gained considerable recognition for their benefits in massage therapy, particularly in rehabilitation and injury recovery. Both techniques can enhance treatment outcomes, complementing other modalities such as hot stone therapy.
Cupping involves creating suction on the skin using glass or silicone cups, which helps to stimulate blood flow, reduce muscle tension, and promote lymphatic drainage. This technique can be particularly useful for breaking up fascial restrictions, allowing for better movement and flexibility. Many clients experience relief from chronic pain, improved range of motion, and reduced inflammation after cupping sessions.
Fascial stretching focuses on the connective tissue surrounding muscles, known as fascia. By employing targeted stretching techniques, therapists can help release tension and adhesions in the fascia, thus improving mobility and overall musculoskeletal function. This is particularly beneficial for those recovering from injuries or experiencing restrictions that limit their movement.
Incorporating cupping and fascial stretching into massage sessions not only enhances physical results but also contributes to a holistic approach to healing. When combined with other tools like hot stones, these methods create a comprehensive therapy experience that addresses both the body and mind, promoting relaxation and well-being.
For those unfamiliar with these techniques, acquiring knowledge through educational resources, including workshops or literature from registered associations, can be beneficial in understanding their application within massage therapy practices.
