    Eager to enhance your massage therapy skills and help prevent injuries? This is a unique course specifically designed to guide massage professionals in developing physical strength and mobility necessary to deliver more effective/ efficient treatments.

    All massage therapists may do the same job but we all have different needs. Which is why we will walk you through your strength and mobility weakness's, through a series of tests you can do yourself at home! Then we will guide you through a custom targeted strength-building and mobility plan to ensure you can apply the perfect pressure and have the stamina for back-to-back sessions without the burnout.

    In addition to a custom corrective corrective exercise plan we also go though a Pre-work and Post-work plan. By adding in a warm up and cool down to your daily work routine will enhance your ability to recover from work, prevent injuries and feel ready for your next day.

    It's not just about pumping iron. Throughout the course, you'll gain practical knowledge by exploring the theories and definitions of strength and stretching, this may help you with some of your home care recommendations as well!

  • The course is designed by Alix Claydon and Kelly Supervich. Alix Claydon holds a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Kinesiology, she has specialized in curriculum development. Alix is also an RMT with 13+ years experience. And Kelly Supervich, an RMT for 6+ years and a Certified Personal Trainer, specializing in corrective exercise.

    We understand that each person learns differently. For this online course we have provided Visual, Auditory, Reading/ writing, and Kinaesthetic teachings. Each section will have visual demonstration videos with subtitles and printable charts to write down/ clarify your findings.

    We have designed the program to be done at home or at the gym. We have given many options for equipment choices. The minimum you will need is small bands and large bands.

A targeted corrective exercise program is essential for enhancing the strength and keeping/ increasing mobility. Lacking strength and or mobility can contribute to poor body mechanics and increases the risk of injury for the therapist. It will help maintain a balanced posture and the endurance needed for massage therapy.
